Elizabeth Waterstraat

Elizabeth Waterstraat is the founder and head coach of Multisport Mastery, bringing more than 25 years of multisport competitive and coaching experience to athletes around the world. She is a USA Triathlon Level II Coach known for developing athletes across a wide range of disciplines, distances, and performance levels.

Elizabeth’s coaching philosophy is athlete-centered and performance-driven, blending data analysis, long-term development, and real world practicality. She is known for her ability to identify an athlete’s potential and systematically guide them toward sustainable excellence through thoughtful planning, consistent communication, and education-driven coaching. Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology and a Master’s degree in Public Health, equipping her to address performance through a holistic lens that integrates training, resilience, health, and life balance while progressing towards athletic goals.

As a business owner, accomplished multisport athlete, and parent of three, Elizabeth understands the realities athletes face beyond training and racing. She is widely respected for helping athletes pursue ambitious goals while maintaining health, perspective, and longevity in both sport and life.

Whether coaching an athlete to their first finish line or the top step of a championship podium, Elizabeth is deeply committed to the pursuit of excellence and the success of every athlete she works with.

Amanda Wendorff

A life-long athlete who first started coaching runners and swimmers in 2002, Amanda Wendorff is a full-time USA Triathlon and Ironman University certified multisport coach based in Ohio. Since Amanda joined Multisport Mastery in 2015, she has guided multiple athletes to World Championship and Boston Marathon qualifications, age group podiums, and personal records in all distances of triathlon and running. Also an attorney who formerly worked as a corporate litigator in Chicago, Amanda understands the complexities of juggling busy schedules and training, and works with each athlete to develop a program that will allow top performance while performing well in other parts of life. Amanda enjoys working with athletes in all stages in their athletic career, from rookies to those looking to stand atop the podium.

Kristan Huenink

Kristan Huenink is a USA Triathlon Level II Certified Coach and RRCA-Certified Run Coach based in southern California, working with athletes across all levels to help them discover and develop their full potential.

Kristan takes a whole-athlete approach to coaching, focusing not only on physical performance but also on the mental, tactical, and lifestyle components that drive long-term success. Her coaching philosophy emphasizes smart, strategic training to prepare for smart, strategic racing along with helping athletes build consistency, confidence, and resilience.

As an athlete, Kristan brings extensive personal experience to her coaching. She has completed countless marathons, Ironman 70.3 events, full Ironman races, including competing at the Ironman World Championship. Her firsthand experience with the demands of endurance sport – training cycles, race-day pressure, setbacks, and breakthroughs – adds depth and authenticity to her coaching.

Kristan is passionate about helping athletes pursue ambitious goals while maintaining balance, health, and longevity in sport. Whether guiding and athlete toward their first finish line or supporting seasoned competitors, she is dedicated to fostering growth, enjoyment, and lasting success.

Jen Tryon

Jennifer Tryon is a USA Triathlon Level I Certified Coach and dedicated triathlete whose passion for triathlon has led her to multiple Ironman 140.6 and 70.3 World Championships. She began her triathlon journey while managing a demanding career, gaining firsthand insight into how intentional structure and planning make it possible to excel in training alongside a packed schedule. This experience shaped her coaching philosophy: to help driven athletes reach their highest potential without compromising life beyond the sport.
