Let's Talk About Your Goals
Every coaching relationship begins with a conversation.
Whether you’re preparing for your first triathlon, pursuing a personal best, working toward a championship qualification, or looking for a more effective approach to training, we’d welcome the opportunity to learn more about you.
Start With a Conversation
The first step is to schedule a coaching fit call.
This is an opportunity to tell us about your athletic background, what you’re working toward, and what you’re looking for in a coach.
You don’t need to have a complete training history prepared, a race already selected, or a specific performance goal established.
We’ll help you explore where you are today, what you’d like to accomplish, and whether our coaching approach aligns with your needs.
Call duration: Approximately 15 minutes
What We'll Discuss
The initial conversation is intended to be useful for both athlete and coach.
We’ll typically discuss:
Your Athletic Background
Your experience with triathlon or endurance sport, your current training, and any relevant strengths or challenges.
Your Goals
What you’d like to accomplish, whether that’s finishing a new distance, improving performance, qualifying for a championship, or building a more sustainable training routine.
Your Life Outside Sport
Your available training time, professional and family commitments, and other factors that may influence your training.
Your Coaching Needs
What you’re looking for in a coaching relationship, what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past, and the type of guidance you find most valuable.
How We Work
Our approach to individualized training, communication, workout feedback, race preparation, and long-term development.
Next Steps
If we believe there’s a good fit, we’ll explain the appropriate coaching options and what getting started would involve.
You’re welcome to ask questions throughout the conversation.
The goal isn’t to make a commitment before you have the information you need. It’s to determine whether working together makes sense.
You Don't Need to Be an Experienced Athlete to Start
We work with athletes across a wide range of experience and ability.
Some are preparing for their first race. Others have been competing for years and want to pursue more ambitious goals or refine their approach to training.
Many are balancing training with demanding careers, family responsibilities, and other commitments.
You may benefit from a coaching conversation if you’re:
- Preparing for your first triathlon or a new race distance.
- Training for Ironman or Ironman 70.3.
- Pursuing a personal record or championship qualification.
- Looking for greater consistency or more effective training.
- Returning to structured training after time away.
- Struggling to balance athletic goals with everyday responsibilities.
- Interested in a more individualized, educational coaching relationship.
You don’t need to know exactly what you need from coaching before contacting us. Part of the conversation is helping you clarify that.
More Than a Training Schedule
At Multisport Mastery, coaching is an ongoing relationship built around the individual athlete.
We provide purposeful training, performance analysis, communication, race preparation, and education to help athletes understand their development and make informed decisions.
We believe the strongest coaching relationships are built on mutual trust, honest feedback, curiosity, and shared responsibility.
Our objective is to help you become a more capable, knowledgeable, and confident athlete, not simply to complete the next workout.
