Our Beginning
In 2007, Elizabeth Waterstraat built Multisport Mastery with a belief that has only gotten stronger over the years: that endurance sport, done thoughtfully, has a way of teaching you things about yourself that show up everywhere else in your life.
Not just how to pace a race. How to be patient when the outcome isn’t visible yet. How to stay in the process when the process gets hard. How to show up — consistently, honestly, without waiting until conditions are perfect — because conditions are never perfect.
Those lessons don’t happen by accident. They happen inside a coaching relationship that takes the whole person seriously. That’s what we’re here to build.
Our Philosophy
We are athlete-centered, evidence-informed, and performance-focused. We care deeply about the science of training and we stay curious about it — reading, learning, evolving — because the best thing we can do for our athletes is keep getting better ourselves.
But we also understand that data is a reflection of a human being. And if we don’t understand the human being, we’re just staring at numbers without a story.
So we ask questions. We listen carefully. We build training that fits inside real lives — with jobs and families and travel and the Tuesday when everything goes sideways. And we stay on the path with our athletes, not behind a screen dispensing plans.
What We Believe
Everyone is an athlete. Everyone can get better. The finish line is the celebration — the process is the point. And the athlete who understands themselves is always more capable than the one who just trains hard.
These aren’t things we say. They’re things we’ve lived, as competitors and as coaches. And they shape everything we do.
Who We Work With
Our athletes are self-motivated, curious, and driven to explore their potential. They have goals that matter to them and lives that make getting there complicated. They want more than a training plan — they want a team that is genuinely invested in what they’re building.
If that sounds like you, we’d love to talk.
